Dr. James R. Munford is a native of Philadelphia, PA. He is also a veteran of the US Air Force, having served 21 years as a Communications and Computer Systems Officer at various locations around the world. His education includes a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Computer Information Systems from Howard University, a Master of Arts degree in Management from Webster University, and a Doctorate of Business Administration in Leadership from Walden University.
In addition, Dr. Munford is a Certified Project Management Professional, has an Executive Certificate in Transformational Nonprofit Leadership from the University of Notre Dame, and is a Certified Project Management Professional with 30+ years of experience providing strategic management in the areas of operations, human resources, organizational behaviors, training, and process improvements.
His prior teaching experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor of Aerospace Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and Senior Aerospace Science Instructor at North Middle/High School in North, South Carolina.
