Knowledge University is the flagship initiative of Knowledge for College and represents our core priorities and highest standards.  

Created in 2022, this program has been hosted on the campus of Claflin University in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

The focus of this week-long on-campus experience is to expose rising high school seniors to the rigors of college life.

As part of their experience, students will be required to take courses that cover topics to include financial literacy, generational wealth building, professional etiquette, resume preparation, scholarship search, college planning, and career readiness.

While on campus, students reside in dormitory style suites designated specifically for male or female residents. A resident advisor is assigned to each floor to answer questions and address concerns.

Classes are limited to 25 students and last for one hour.  Group projects will be assigned to further reinforce knowledge critical for success during freshman year in college and beyond.

During out inaugural program, GEAR UP TAKES CLAFLIN UNIVERSITY, 92 students were accepted to Claflin University at the conclusion of the week and received more than $1.2 million in academic incentive awards.
